As an agency owner I appreciate having Eclipse hosted by Kotter for several reasons. Most importantly to me is that it has taken the headache and expense of IT out of my office. We used to have almost regularly scheduled visits from our computer tech to do maintenance and troubleshoot problems with my server and other equipment. Since moving to Kotter I rarely see my computer tech. The other main advantage is having the backups done automatically by Kotter. We used to be like every other agency and had an inconsistent backup of our data. Now I am confident that if we lost any equipment or any of our agencies we could be back up and running in a very short time.

I have known The Kotter Group for about 9 years now and have found them to be fabulous. We started with their Guardian Angel back up and unfortunately needed to use it, and it was there. We were up and running after our server crash in a matter of a couple of hours. When time came to upgrade our server or use the online service I gave Adam a call and said we were ready. With only a few minor hiccups we were up and running on their servers. It’s been a great experience.
I cannot say enough good about the service. Kotter also hosts our email and web site.. one stop shopping. I like that, only one place to call.

We have used Eclipse on the Kotter Group system since 2007. This decision was made in response to an issue on our local server that caused us to experience an extended down time. Kotter provides a very reliable connection that has allowed us to reduce our IT costs and has given us access to our management system from anywhere we have a connection to the internet. Most importantly, we have the peace of mind of knowing that we are protected against a loss of information and productivity from a server breakdown, natural disaster, or any other type of risk we might face. If the worst occurs, we will be there for our customers. In my experience, the advantages of a hosted system far outweigh any drawbacks.

Our experience transferring Eclipse to the Kotter was great. The technical support in setting everything up was very easy and consumed very little time. The system has worked with very few interruptions. It is nice to know that you can never lose your working data base. I really have utilized your service in the fact that our office has 2 locations that are long distance from each other so therefore the system before Kotter was not doing its potential. Now I feel comfortable with what is being done and how it all comes together to avoid any miscommunication. I no longer have to worry about backups because you take care of them for me. Before Kotter I had a tape backup that I either forgot to change, or changed and had to carry the tape around in my purse. I was told what to have the tape backup, but did not always check each tape to make sure things were going right. At times I did not know if it was working or not. I always had my software/hardware expert check it every time he came in. So, needless to say I now go home every day and don’t think about backups for Eclipse.
The place that I really utilize the online is during snow storms, weekends (I know I shouldn't be working at home, but….) and when I went to the conference. I can be out of the office and take the laptop with me and still be connected. I actually was in touch with the office when we were at the conference and with kotter capabilities I sent a certificate of liability via email for a client. I know that the agent could do it with me talking him through it, but by me doing it I saved time and headache. This really impressed the boss. I do let him know what is being completed and how effective and efficient we have become. We have also gone paperless in our office now because I am comfortable with the backup system.
When we have had issues and problems, we first call NASA and there are certain staff members (and Kotter personnel) that can connect right into my computer to see what the problem is and to fix it. It is a lot easier than trying to explain it over the phone. At times the NASA staff comes into our computer by hooking up thru their web site, but the way The Kotter Group can pop in and out sure is easier.
I could go on and on, but I have to stop somewhere…. If there is something specific that you would like my opinion on let me know and I will give you it honestly and will not sugar coat anything to make it look better than it is in my eyes.
Oh, and by the way, your staff has been super to work with, good on the phones and understanding to make the corrections or fix the problems.
